Today was a full day - we started at the Smurfit-Kappa corrugated paper factory in Epernay, about 2 hours northeast of Paris. Boxes sound basic, but it's quite a complicated process and this is a critical part of the supply chain. We had a great tour and were treated to a delicious lunch. Then we went to Reims and toured the Lanson champagne house, which was amazing - 5km of caves, tunneled into the side of a hill, holding 23million bottles of champagne.
Tomorrow (Weds) is a free day - the students have a wide range of plans to enjoy the city. Thursday we are off to Basel, Switzerland. Everybody is healthy and having a great time!
